Several Democratic members of Congress have faced criticism for their support of a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, with some comments being seen as sympathetic to the terrorist group.
Jayapal, Tlaib, Omar, and Bush have been specifically mentioned in this context.
CNN’s Dana Bash questioned Jayapal why progressives on the Left were particularly silent regarding Hamas’ sexual violence, to which she said, “I mean, I don’t know that that’s true.” (Trending: Tucker Reveals The Moment He Became A Full-Blown Trump Supporter)

“I think what — we always talk about the impact of war on women, in particular. In fact, I remember, 20 years ago, I did a petition around the war in Iraq.”
Bash then questioned Jayapal if she condemned the actions made on women.
“Absolutely, the rape, the — of course,” the congresswoman answered.
“Frankly, morally, I think we cannot say that one war crime deserves another,” she continued.
“That is not what international humanitarian law says,” she claimed.
“We must use diplomacy to secure the release of hostages, end the violence by negotiating a ceasefire, restore water, food, and fuel to Gaza, and work toward lasting peace,” Omar stated.
Tlaib was censured for her rhetoric and spreading unverified claims about Israel, while Omar voted against a resolution supporting Israel and advocated for a ceasefire.
Bush has also faced backlash for her comments, including accusing Israel of “ethnic cleansing” in Gaza.
The lawmakers’ statements and actions have sparked controversy and raised questions about their positions on the conflict.
