A Democratic donor, Reid Hoffman, who previously endorsed Joe Biden, has donated $250,000 to a super PAC supporting Nikki Haley’s Republican presidential campaign.
Despite being a Democrat, Hoffman’s support for Haley reflects a willingness to back her bid for the nomination.

“Even if you’re a very liberal Democrat, I urge you, help Nikki Haley”, said JPMorgan Chase’s CEO Jamie Dimon at a recent engagement.
“Anybody that wants to come support the cause, whether they’re Republican, independent or Democrat, we’re going to take them,” explained Haley.
“And that’s the way the Republican Party should look at it is, this is a story about addition, not about getting people and pushing people away,” she continued.
This cross-party support has drawn criticism from Donald Trump, who highlighted the involvement of globalist donors.
The former president is telling his supporters, “While globalist special interest donors from both parties forge an unholy alliance to beat us, I’m calling on our grass roots donors like YOU to fight back.”
Additionally, other high-profile donors, such as Frank Laukien, Stanley Druckenmiller, and organizations like Americans for Prosperity Action, are also backing Haley’s campaign.
Democrats, facing challenging poll numbers for Biden, are considering the potential of supporting Haley over Trump in the upcoming election.
