Despite this, most candidates would likely welcome additional debates, particularly as they face a significant challenge in catching up to frontrunner Donald Trump.
If more debates were to occur, they could potentially help candidates narrow Trump’s lead in the polls.
In the upcoming Republican primary, former President Donald Trump is leading, with Ron DeSantis in second place.
The numbers show Trump is on track to win around 60 percent of the votes, leaving DeSantis at 12.6 percent.
