Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to visit the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia for a one-day working visit, meeting with the Saudi crown prince and engaging in negotiations.

The discussions will cover bilateral relations, the Israel-Hamas conflict, international issues, and oil price caps under OPEC+.

The visit comes amidst an ICC arrest warrant issued for Putin for war crimes in Ukraine, prompting his avoidance of certain international events. (Trending: Olympic Gold Medalist Sentenced For Jan 6)

“I hope that these will be very useful negotiations, which we consider extremely important,” presidential aide Yuri Ushakov stated.

Notably, neither Saudi Arabia nor the UAE have signed the ICC’s founding treaty.
