Former police officer Derek Chauvin was stabbed 22 times by another inmate, John Turscak, in a shocking incident.
Turscak, a member of the Mexican mafia and an FBI informant, had initially denied wanting to kill Chauvin but later waived his Miranda rights during an FBI interview.

Chauvin’s Family has recently expressed concern regarding the lack of safety and protocol at the facility where he is currently being held.
