Peyton Manning and Emmitt Smith, two beloved NFL legends, were featured in a Bud Light ad, but the response was overwhelmingly negative, with many former fans expressing anger and refusing to drink the beer.

This backlash is part of a broader public relations battle that Bud Light has been fighting since a controversial partnership with a transgender influencer in April.

Despite high-profile endorsements, it’s unclear if the company’s efforts are working, as public sentiment remains negative and fans are reluctant to associate themselves with the brand. (Trending: Olympic Gold Medalist Sentenced For Jan 6)

Anheuser-Busch announced a large endorsement deal with Trump supporter Dana White’s UFC.

White has brazenly defended his relationship with the company and alignment with their values, but it has not convinced everyone to come back to the brand.

“Still not drinking,” one X user posted.

Bud Light responded, “When you change your mind, we’ll have a cold one ready for you.”
