Feuds between congressional Republicans continue as former Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy criticizes Rep. Matt Gaetz, suggesting he belongs in jail.
McCarthy also hinted at Gaetz’s potential downfall due to an ethics complaint.
Gaetz retaliated by referencing an incident where McCarthy allegedly elbowed another congressman. (Trending: Tucker Reveals The Moment He Became A Full-Blown Trump Supporter)

McCarthy is reportedly considering leaving the House of Representatives soon.
“You have a cross section,” McCarthy said. “You have Gaetz, who belongs in jail, and you have serious members.”
It’s unclear why McCarthy believes Gaetz is deserving of prison.
Gaetz responded, “Tough words from a guy who sucker punches people in the back,” in reference to an incident in which McCarthy was accused of elbowing Tennessee Rep. Tim Burchett.
Have NEVER seen this on Capitol Hill:
While talking to @RepTimBurchett after the GOP conference meeting, former @SpeakerMcCarthy walked by with his detail and McCarthy shoved Burchett. Burchett lunged towards me. I thought it was a joke, it was not. And a chase ensued…
