Republican Senator Steve Daines is urging ActBlue, a major fundraising platform for Democrats, to stop processing donations for groups sympathetic to Hamas.
Several organizations, including the U.S.-Palestinian Community Network and Democratic Socialists of America, have received donations processed by ActBlue and have supported or organized rallies in support of Hamas’ attacks on Israeli civilians.
These groups have been accused of promoting anti-Semitic and pro-Hamas sentiments. (Trending: Tucker Reveals The Moment He Became A Full-Blown Trump Supporter)
“It’s shocking that Democrats’ primary fundraising vehicle is helping bankroll antisemitic protests across the country where Hamas terrorists are honored as martyrs,” said Sen. Steve Daines.
“ActBlue should cut off access to these pro-Hamas groups or Democrats should leave the platform,” added the Montana Republican.
ActBlue also reportedly processes finances for some of the chapters of The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).
The NYC-DSA chapter helped promote an “All Out for Palestine” protest in NYC.
They also assist Palestine Legal with donations, which aims to “bolster the Palestine solidarity movement by challenging efforts to threaten, harass and legally bully activists into silence and inaction.”
Palestine Legal openly, called Hamas’ attack on Oct. 7, “one of the most significant acts of Palestinian resistance to Israel’s nearly eight decade long settler colonial project in Palestine.”
Daines has called for ActBlue to cut off access to these groups, emphasizing concerns about Democrats’ association with organizations supporting Hamas.
