Left-wing activist billionaire George Soros is facing criticism from Israel’s ambassador to the U.N. for allegedly funding organizations that support Hamas.

The Israeli ambassador condemned Soros for pumping $15 million in donations and accused him of backing groups seeking to isolate Israel.

“George Soros’ donations to organizations that seek the destruction of the State of Israel as a Jewish state is shameful. However, I am not surprised,” Israeli ambassador Gilad Erdan said. (Trending: Another Major Company Goes Woke And Goes Broke)

Hamas killed 1,200 unarmed and innocent civilians during a full-blown invasion into southern Israel Oct. 7. The terrorists also took 240 hostages, including infants, women, and elderly Israelis.

“For years, Soros has backed and transferred money to organizations supporting BDS that want to isolate Israel,” added Erdan. “They have never been about real peace or any solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.”

Soros’ Open Society Foundations (OSF) has been accused of funding anti-Israel NGOs, with some claiming they support Hamas’ agenda.

The OSF has refused to directly address accusations of funding pro-Hamas organizations, but has condemned attacks on Israeli citizens.

The OSF has also funded progressive Jewish NGOs, such as Jewish Voice for Peace and IfNotNow, which have been criticized for their anti-Israel stance.

Soros’ son, Alex, has taken over his father’s fortune, and there are widespread concerns about his close alignment with his father’s views.

Rachel Ehrenfeld, author of “The Soros Agenda,” said, “Support of pro-Hamas, pro-Palestinian groups in the U.S. is not limited to foreign entities. It also comes directly and indirectly from U.S.-based foundations. George and Alexander Soros’ Open Society Foundations (OSF) is one of them.”

“Soon after he settled in the White House, Biden appointed Robert Malley as his special envoy to Iran,” Ehrenfeld wrote in her book. “Malley is the former president and CEO of the Soros-funded, Brussels-based International Crisis Group, which, like Soros, has been criticizing Israel and praising Hamas. ”

Joe Biden’s now-suspended Iran envoy Robert Malley said, “There’s so much misinformation about them. … I speak to them and my colleagues speak to them [Hamas], and now we may disagree with them, but they have their own rationality … none of them are crazies.”
