Chappelle’s show creator was labeled as a “TERF,” a term used by far-left activists that stands for “Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist.”
“This is not only about people’s feelings getting hurt or political correctness, this is about the threats of violence that people in the trans community face every single day,” one protester said.
Chappelle posed for a photo with U.S. Reps. Laruen Boebert (R-CO) and Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) while visiting Congress last week.
“Just three people who understand that there’s only two genders,” Boebert wrote in a caption. Chappelle later said that he felt “tricked” into the photo, which suggested that perhaps he doesn’t believe in only two biological genders.
