During a White House press briefing, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre had a tense exchange with African journalist Simon Ateba, leading to an abrupt conclusion of the presser.
Ateba questioned the administration’s lack of engagement with African leaders and journalists, prompting Jean-Pierre to respond and threaten to end the briefing due to lack of respect.
The relationship between Jean-Pierre and Ateba has been notable due to their frequent disagreements during press briefings, with Ateba even suing Jean-Pierre for revoking his press pass in August. (Trending: Greta Thunberg Caught on Video Going Full Anti-Semite)

“It is so surprising… that you can’t take a question from an African journalist,” said Ateba while Biden Advisor John Kirby stood at the podium.
Jean-Pierre walked to the podium and warned the journalists, “All right, we can end this briefing if it’s not going to be respectful here.”
