Under President Joe Biden, the foreign-born population in the United States has reached an all-time high of 49.5 million, with an increase of 4.5 million since he took office.
This growth surpasses the resident populations of 25 states and constitutes 15% of the total U.S. population.
The influx of immigrants under Biden’s administration exceeds that of previous presidents, with a monthly increase of 137,000. (Trending: Another Major Company Goes Woke And Goes Broke)
“At 15 percent, the foreign-born share of the U.S. population is also the highest ever recorded in American history,” the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS)’s Steven Camarota and Karen Zeigler
The majority of these immigrants are from Latin America, and a significant portion arrived illegally.
The current immigration policy, which allows over a million legal immigrants annually, is expected to drive the foreign-born population to 70 million by 2060.
Polls indicate that a majority of likely voters want reductions in overall immigration, particularly legal immigration, and oppose current immigration laws that facilitate “chain migration.”
