Elon Musk responded bluntly to an ongoing left-wing advertiser boycott against X, formerly known as Twitter, telling Disney and others to stop advertising on the platform, leaving NBC host Andrew Ross Sorkin without words.
The boycott was prompted by Musk’s post agreeing with a user who claimed that “Jewish communities” have endorsed anti-white initiatives.
Musk clarified that he was pointing out the hypocrisy of groups such as the ADL. (Trending: Chilling Surveillance Program Under Biden Exposed)
He also accused Media Matters of doctoring screenshots and manipulating X’s algorithm.
“I hope they stop,” Musk said of the boycotters.
“Don’t advertise.”
“You don’t want them to advertise?” Sorkin asked.
“If somebody’s gonna try to blackmail me with advertising, blackmail me with money, go f— yourself,” Musk said.
Following a period of silence, Sorkin went to speak up when Musk interjected, exclaiming, “go f— yourself.”
“Is that clear? I hope it is.”
“Hey Bob, if you’re in the audience,” Musk said in reference to Disney CEO Bob Iger.
Sorkin then pressed Musk on the potential financial impact of the loss of ads on X, to which Musk surprisingly said it would “kill the company.”
“And the whole world will know that those advertisers killed the company and we will document it,” Musk said.
“But they’re going to say that, they’re going to say Elon, that you killed the company because you said these things and that they were inappropriate things and that they didn’t feel comfortable on the platform, right? That’s what they would have said,” Sorkin said.
“And let’s see how earth respond to that,” Musk replied.
