President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden did not hang Christmas stockings for their grandchildren at the White House this year, a departure from previous years.
This change follows the public acknowledgment of Hunter Biden’s out-of-wedlock daughter, Navy Joan Roberts, as their seventh grandchild.

The first couple planned to spend Christmas at the Camp David presidential retreat and will hang the stockings there instead.

The now 5 year old Navy’s stocking was not part of previous displays, “unlike Hunter’s three daughters he shares with ex-wife Kathleen Buhle and his son with current wife Melissa Cohen,” as reported by the same outlet.
The White House unveiled extravagant Christmas decorations, and Navy’s mother recently defended Hunter in an op-ed, emphasizing the need for privacy and understanding regarding his past struggles.
Hunter and Navy’s mother resolved their child support dispute, and the Biden family acknowledged Navy Joan in a statement, expressing their desire for privacy and the best interests of their grandchildren.
