Argentina’s President-elect Javier Milei is scheduled to meet with White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan and other administration officials in Washington.
The Treasury Department also confirmed that Milei’s economic policy advisers will meet with senior Treasury Officials to discuss the incoming administration’s economic policy priorities.
Milei, known for his favorability towards former President Donald Trump and his support for Israel, has expressed his desire to move Argentina’s embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. (Trending: Biden Shamefully Removes God From National Address)
“We want to continue to look for ways to cooperate with Argentina,” said Biden Official John Kirby.
“Argentina is a healthy and vibrant partner in this hemisphere on many, many issues, said the Pentagon’s spokesman.
“And so we’re looking forward to obviously hearing what the president-elect’s ideas are and where he wants to go on policy issues and making sure that we have a chance to keep that channel of communication open,” added Kirby.
Additionally, he has been studying the Torah and has openly talked about his respect for Judaism.
“I don’t go to the church; I go to the temple,” confessed the Roman Catholic.
“I don’t talk to priests; I have a head rabbi. I study the Torah,” added Milei.
“I’m internationally recognized as a friend of Israel and a scholar of the Torah,” declared the president-elect of Argentina.
While Milei’s visit to Washington is primarily for discussions with IMF officials, his meetings with U.S. officials are focused on explaining his economic plan and are not aimed at seeking financing.
