Special counsel Jack Smith subpoenaed former Vice President Mike Pence to testify in the Jan. 6 attack and Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the election.
Pence was initially reluctant but was later ordered to comply.
According to ABC News, Pence provided details to investigators about Trump’s legal advisors, un-American legal theories, and a potential constitutional crisis. (Trending: Biden Shamefully Removes God From National Address)

Pence’s notes show he briefly considered skipping the election certification process, later deciding to fulfill his duty after a conversation with his son.
Pence also reportedly told Trump he saw no evidence of significant election irregularities and lacked the authority to act as Trump desired.
If Trump goes to trial, Pence may be called as a witness.
