A fire caused significant damage to the Helberg Barbeque in Texas, but the owners responded with faith and gratitude, asking for prayers and expressing thanks that no one was hurt.
They cited biblical verses and emphasized their reliance on God.
“The enemy is going to have to work a lot harder than this to shake our faith,” the Helbergs posted. (Trending: Biden Shamefully Removes God From National Address)
“It’s the prayer and the comfort from our God that’s getting us through this right now,” they said.
“Pray for us.”
“I know we have a lot of — we’ve got a lot of prayer warriors in our corner.”
“Now, our interpretation and perspective is this: we are so thankful that nobody was present or was hurt. We can’t fathom the idea that we could have lost one of our team members to this fire. Praise God,” they wrote.
“James 1:2 says ‘Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds. For you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have it’s full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing,’” they added.
Many praised their reaction, emphasizing the power of gratitude and humility in the face of adversity, using the Helbergs’ response as a Christian example.
