The CIA issued an internal reminder about social media posts after a senior CIA officer posted a pro-Palestinian image following a terrorist attack on Israel.
The CIA emphasized its commitment to unbiased analysis, but former officials raised concerns about potential bias.

“CIA officers may have personal views, but this does not lessen their — or CIA’s — commitment to unbiased analysis,” the agency said.
“The officer is a career analyst with extensive background in all aspects of the Middle East and this post was not intended to express a position on the conflict,” an inside source stated.
The controversy follows a letter signed by Biden administration staffers opposing President Biden’s handling of the Israel-Hamas war.
