Former associates at NBCU describe her as a difficult boss, and she has been criticized for her response to Musk’s behavior and her management style.
“She was good at ad sales but wrecked the culture,” reported one former colleague.
“She was not collegial. She was a scorched-earth manager,” echoed another source.
“Stability is so important for success, but her reign was marked by instability,” revealed a third co-worker.
Adding, “You could count on a reorganization once or twice a year.”
Despite her challenges, Yaccarino’s views on Musk’s behavior and her relationship with facts have come under scrutiny.
