Cochise County supervisors Peggy Judd and Tom Crosby have been criminally charged for delaying the canvassing of the 2022 general election results in Arizona.
They were indicted on counts of conspiracy and interference of an election officer.
The delay in certifying the election results prompted lawsuits and legal actions, with the two supervisors claiming dissatisfaction with the certification of the ballot tabulation machines. (Trending: Donald Trump Confronts Bud Light CEO)
“The repeated attempts to undermine our democracy are unacceptable,” Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes stated.
“I took an oath to uphold the rule of law, and my office will continue to enforce Arizona’s elections laws and support our election officials as they carry out the duties and responsibilities of their offices.”
