Arkansas GOP Senator Tom Cotton criticized President Joe Biden’s handling of American hostages held by Hamas, asserting that the terrorist group shows contempt for Biden.
Cotton suggested using special forces for a potential hostage rescue but emphasized the need to coordinate with Israeli forces.
“We should certainly be open to that; we have elite special operation forces who are specifically trained in hostage rescue,” Cotton said. (Trending: Donald Trump Confronts Bud Light CEO.)
It’s appalling that some Democratic senators are calling for conditions on our aide to Israel.
They should instead call out their fellow Democrats who have allowed antisemitism to fester in their party. pic.twitter.com/tASNBzKi5c

“I do think we have to be deferential to the Israelis, to the Israeli government and the Israeli Defense Forces about the tactical situation on the ground.”
“But if American military forces are called upon and can provide a viable solution to get out American citizens and the citizens of Israel or other nations then we have to be open to that.”
He criticized Biden’s perceived weakness, comparing it to past administrations, and highlighted his previous criticism of Biden’s foreign policy, particularly regarding China.
Cotton expressed concerns about Biden’s approach to international relations and emphasized the need for strong leadership in the U.S.-China competition.
