“The leaders affirmed the need to address the risks of advanced AI systems and improve AI safety through U.S.-China government talks,” confirmed a statement from The White House.
The B-21’s AI capabilities allow it to process enemy threats and interact with unmanned drones, providing a tactical advantage in combat.
Chinese fighter pilot Zhang Xiao reportedly said, “The computer can sum up all situational information and assist military personnel in making more efficient and accurate decisions.”
China expects to build “a fast, stable and efficient communications network, and all the vast data will likely be preprocessed, selected and highlighted by artificial intelligence before being presented to human operators, so the latter can make the best decisions for victory.”
This technology maintains America’s AI advantage for long-range airpower.
