USC economics professor John Strauss, who is Jewish, has been barred from campus due to a doctored video circulated by anti-Israel activists.
The video, which was edited to omit his condemnation of Hamas, led to a petition demanding his firing for alleged racist and xenophobic behavior.
“I’m Jewish, I’m very pro-Israel,” Strauss stated. (Trending: Donald Trump Confronts Bud Light CEO.)

“And so I yelled out ‘Israel forever. Hamas are murderers.”
Despite USC’s free speech policy, Strauss was placed on administrative leave and prohibited from teaching, prompting debate over the suppression of differing viewpoints on campus.
