‘Biden’s America’: Social Media Lights Up When National Christmas Tree Falls

The National Christmas Tree in Washington, D.C. toppled over due to a strong gust of wind, prompting social media users to make jokes and memes about President Joe Biden.

Despite the incident, the lighting ceremony is still expected to take place with Biden on Thursday.

The National Park Service wrote in a statement, “The National Park Service is currently evaluating the National Christmas Tree, which fell over on Nov. 28 during a strong wind gust this afternoon.”

“As the saying goes, ‘the show must go on,’ and the NPS and our event partners are looking at all possibilities to ensure a successful event this year,” promised the agency.

Eric Trump chimed in saying, “If the administration was depicted by a Christmas Tree…. This pretty much sums up the entire Biden Presidency.”

Meanwhile, the Capitol Christmas Tree lighting ceremony took place without incident on Capitol Hill, although some pro-Palestinian demonstrators attempted to disrupt the event.
