70,000+ Attendees Flying To Climate Summit

The COP28 climate conference in Dubai is expecting over 70,000 attendees, including global leaders, business and government officials, and other stakeholders.

The conference has faced criticism due to its host, the United Arab Emirates, being a major oil-producing state.

The attendees will discuss climate action and emissions reduction, with some notable figures like Pope Francis and President Xi Jinping not expected to attend. (Trending: Donald Trump Confronts Bud Light CEO)

John Kerry said that flying private was “the only choice for someone like me.”

“If you offset your carbon, it’s the only choice for somebody like me who is traveling the world to win this battle,” he said.

The U.N’.s Food & Agriculture Organization will also be represented to advocate for reducing meat consumption and embracing plant-based diets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
