Stephen Colbert’s “The Late Show” has been sidelined once again, this time due to the host’s recovery from a burst appendix.

Planned shows for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday have been canceled as Colbert jokes about his recovery.

This comes after Colbert had to cancel a week’s worth of shows in October due to contracting COVID-19. (Trending: Donald Trump Confronts Bud Light CEO.)

Planned guests for the canceled shows included Jennifer Garner, Baz Luhrmann, Patrick Stewart, and Kelsey Grammer.

“Going forward, all emails to my appendix will be handled by my pancreas,” he joked.
