A former executive assistant to ex-Governor Andrew Cuomo, Brittany Commisso, has filed a lawsuit against him for sexual assault, alleging that Cuomo subjected her to humiliating and demeaning tasks, as well as unwanted physical contact during her time working for him.
Cuomo resigned in 2021 following an investigation that found he sexually harassed several women.

Despite this, there are reports of Cuomo considering a run for mayor of New York City, which has drawn criticism from Commisso and others.
