Vice President Kamala Harris received criticism for posting a Thanksgiving photo with a gas stove despite the Biden administration’s proposal to ban gas stoves.
The proposal was to address health concerns, but the idea was scrapped, and a proposed Department of Energy regulation for energy efficiency standards for gas stoves followed.

Critics reacted to observing what appeared to be a gas stove in the photo.

Former governor Scott Walker piled onto the vice president as well.
Richard Trumka Jr. has warned that “a ban on gas stoves is on the table” for the Biden Administration.
“This is a hidden hazard,” Trumka has warned.
“Any option is on the table. Products that can’t be made safe can be banned,” he added.
