Pro-Palestinian protesters disrupted the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with fake blood, chants, and Palestinian flags.
34 people were arrested and many parade spectators booed the protesters.

“About 30 protesters were protesting along Sixth Avenue when a handful jumped the barricades, ran into [the] street and apparently glued themselves to Sixth Avenue,” reported ABC.
WABC reported that, “Many of the parade spectators booed the protesters once they realized what was happening.”
“Thirty of the protesters were issued summonses for trespassing, and four were charged criminally for resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, trespassing and disorderly conduct,” according to officials.

There is an expectation for an apology from those who stood with the protesters, and a warning that further disruptions will result in more arrests without gaining any new support.
