The head of Ron DeSantis’ super PAC resigned amid internal turmoil, citing difficulties in delivering on the shared goal of electing DeSantis as President.

The PAC, Never Back Down, has raised significant funds for DeSantis but has not helped him break through the crowded Republican presidential field.

The resignation comes after a heated meeting within the organization, with frustration building among its ranks. (Trending: SNL Legend Unleashes On Democrats)

“Never Back Down’s main goal and sole focus has been to elect Governor Ron DeSantis as President,” Chris Jankowski stated.

“Given the current environment, it has become untenable for me to deliver on the shared goal and that goes well beyond a difference of strategic opinion.”

“For the future of our country, I support and pray Ron DeSantis is our 47th president.”

Despite the internal turmoil, DeSantis received an endorsement from influential Iowa Christian leader Bob Vander Plaats.
