Stormy Daniels filed a complaint against former President Donald Trump’s attorney, Joe Tacopina, alleging a conflict of interest in Trump’s hush-money case.
However, the New York attorney grievance committee dismissed the complaint, stating there was no ethical violation.
“Following an investigation of the allegations in the above-referenced complaint filed against you, the Committee has determined to take no further action,” wrote Jorge Dopico to Trump’s attorney. (Trending: Biden’s Mental Decline Getting Even Worse)
“Now both the court and the disciplinary committee have ruled that there was no conflict or ethical violation at all, as I have said from day one,” confirmed Dopico to reporters.
Adding, “It seems that Stormy Daniels and her joke of a lawyer’s 15 minutes of fame have come to an appropriate end.”
“I trust that the grievance committee gave the complaint diligent and careful consideration,” said Daniels’ attorney.
“In reporting the facts to the committee, I simply felt obliged under the rules of professional conduct to disclose the facts implicating a rules violation and thereupon leave it to a well-constituted committee to render its judgment, he added.”
Trump faces 34 felony counts related to payments made to his attorney for Daniels’ silence about an alleged affair.
Daniels expressed concern about the impact of her scandal on Americans and discussed her willingness to testify against Trump.
She also mentioned feeling fear for her life due to threats she has received.
The case is ongoing, and Trump is attempting to reenter the White House despite the legal challenges.
