Country music legend Dolly Parton performed at the Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving halftime show, wearing the iconic Cowboys cheerleader outfit and singing hits like “Jolene” and “9 to 5,” as well as “We Are the Champions” by Queen.
This marked her second recent appearance on a football field after joining Peyton Manning for Tennessee’s game.
“Well, I couldn’t hear, but I love the song!” Parton said.

“I just want you to know how proud I am to be here and thank you so much for taking special attention to do whatever we do.”
“And I had a little trouble with hearing, but we know ‘Rocky Top,’ and that song was written by Boudleaux and Felice Bryant, and Dale, their son, is in the stadium tonight. So I guess we’ll play ball! Thank you!”
The Cowboys won their game against the Washington Commanders, extending their home winning streak to 13, while Washington suffered its eighth loss in the last 10 games.
“We just got beat by a lot of points on Thanksgiving,” Washington receiver Terry McLaurin said.
“The game was within reach. And we just didn’t make the necessary plays to kind of put the ball in the end zone and do our part. So that’s never a good feeling.”
