On his 81st birthday, Joe Biden hosted the National Thanksgiving turkey pardon ceremony, featuring turkeys named ‘Liberty’ and ‘Bell.’
The event saw Biden being almost 30 minutes late, and he joked about turning 60.

The 2023 National Thanksgiving Turkeys made the journey from Minnesota to Washington, D.C., receiving the five-star treatment befitting turkeys of their stature. “They can actually sang birthday me!” Biden added.
He left the ceremony after 20 minutes, making it his only public appearance for the day.
