Former Chicago mayor and current US ambassador to Japan, Rahm Emanuel’s Michigan home was vandalized with the word “Nazis” spray-painted on its fence.
Although not present during the incident, Emanuel expressed gratitude for the community’s support and condemned hatred and bigotry.
This event is part of a concerning trend of rising antisemitism and Islamophobia in the US, coinciding with the Israel-Hamas conflict.
The prompt removal of the graffiti highlights growing concerns about intolerance and bigotry in America and globally.
