A United States Postal Service employee, Nakedra Shannon, along with two others, Donnell Gardner and Desiray Carter, have been accused of stealing checks totaling at least $24 million and selling them.
The scheme involved stealing incoming and outgoing checks at a Charlotte postal processing center and lasted from April to July 2023.
