Former California Gov. Jerry Brown expressed confidence in President Biden, calling him the “man of the hour,” but refused to comment on Vice President Kamala Harris during a recent interview with NBC News.
Brown criticized the media and offered advice to Biden, stating that he should learn to avoid embarrassing questions.
“I would say he’s the man of the hour. He’s there,” Brown said.

“When you’ve been in politics for 50 years, the first thing you’re supposed to learn is how to avoid an embarrassing question. That has to be lesson one,” he added.
Meanwhile, Harris has faced challenges, including low popularity and criticism from within the party, as she prepares for the 2024 election.
She acknowledged the need to effectively communicate her accomplishments and message to the public.
“We’re going to have to earn our re-elect, there’s no doubt about it,” Harris stated.
“It is absolutely right in a democracy with free and fair elections that the candidates, the people who want to continue in leadership have to make their case, and have to make it effectively,” she added.
“And that means communicating in such a way that the message is received about the accomplishments and what we care about.”
