Special Counsel Robert Hur, investigating President Joe Biden for mishandling documents, is not expected to charge anyone, suggesting a double standard compared to the indictment of former President Donald Trump for similar issues.

Hur’s report will likely be made public by the end of the year, following an investigation involving numerous Biden aides, colleagues, and family members.

The probe focused on the handling and procedures related to classified documents found in Biden’s possession. (Trending: Eight Republicans Who Shamefully Sided With Democrats Over Impeachment)

Hur reportedly interviewed 100 Biden aides, co-workers, and family members.

Both Hunter and Joe Biden were both interviewed separately by Hur.

Hur is attempting to piece together how classified documents from Biden’s senatorial career through his Vice Presidency were dostributed to The Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement, a Washington-based think tank, and in the garage of his home in Delaware.

Hur also interviewed some of Biden’s top advisors including White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan, Biden’s former Chief of Staff Ron Klain, and White House political aide Steve Ricchetti.

Antony Blinken served as a security advisor for Joe Biden under the Obama Administration and has since been appointed to Secretary of State.

The investigation’s leaked details and Biden’s attorneys’ initial search for papers raise questions, and Biden remains under investigation by the House impeachment inquiry.
