National Guard troops are expected to assist the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department during a planned pro-Israel demonstration in Washington, as tens of thousands of participants are expected.
The Department of Homeland Security has designated the rally as a “Level 1” security event, and it is being eyed as a potential target for terrorism.
The event is organized by American Jewish organizations and is in support of Israel, against anti-Semitism, and for the liberation of hostages taken by Hamas. (Trending: Judge Issue Major Ruling On Transgender Procedures For Kids)
