Far-left Rep. Rashida Tlaib is reportedly a member of a private Facebook group sympathetic to Hamas terrorists.
The group, Palestinian American Congress, has around 15,038 members and has been linked to pro-Hamas sentiments.
The group’s founder, Abdel-qader, has posted antisemitic messages and spread fake news. (Trending: Jury Reaches Verdict In Paul Pelosi Hammer Case)
Tlaib has ties to Abdel-qader, who has supported her financially and been involved in her campaign.
“Since yesterday I have been attached to the TV watching the news,” a group member posted in a message addressing the “American Media”.
“You, and the people directing you, are the problem, you created it almost 100 years ago, made it official 75 years ago and you have been feeding its flam ever since,” accused the user.
Adding, “You consider Hamas a terrorist organization and I am not going to argue with you at the same time you have been broadcasting that they have been killing women and children, guess that is what terrorists do at the same time no mention to the killing of Palestinian women, children and entire families killed on a daily basses (sic) by the [peace-loving] state of Israel using American gifts of weapons and jet fighters.”
“Yesterday I didn’t see Hamas I saw the grand kids (sic) of the refugees that ethnically cleansed from their homeland attacking the grand kids (sic) of the colonists whom sent them to diaspora,” claimed another supporter.
Rep. Rich McCormick has asked, “If this is not worthy of censure, what is? When you can call for the annihilation of a country and its people, if that’s not worthy of a censure, what is?”
Additionally, Tlaib has faced scrutiny over her comments regarding the Israel-Hamas conflict.
Abdel-qader has shown support for other progressive politicians, including Cori Bush.
This news follows the House voting to censure Tlaib over her anti-Israel comments.
The controversy revolves around Tlaib’s defense of using the quote “from the river to the sea,” which some see as a call for the destruction of Israel.
Rep. Josh Gottheimer disagrees with his fellow Democrats and agrees with the Republicans seeking to sanction Tlaib.
“It’s universally accepted and known that’s what that means, ‘river to the sea,’ is the destruction of Israel and of Israel, and, of course, of the Jewish people,” claimed Gottheimer to CNN.
Adding, “It’s basically a call for a second Holocaust.”
