Ex-NFL QB Puts Rapinoe in Her Place After Her Attack on God

via GQ

Soccer star Megan Rapinoe’s comments about the absence of God drew criticism from former NFL quarterback Devlin Hodges and former ESPN anchor Sage Steele.

Rapinoe made the remarks after suffering an Achilles injury in her final professional match.

Hodges responded, asserting the existence of God and plans for believers. (Trending: Photos Released Of Cocaine Found In White House)

“I’m not a religious person or anything and if there was a God, like, this is proof that there isn’t,” Rapinoe said to a reporter after a game.

“This is f—– up. It’s just f—– up. Six minutes in, and I eat my Achilles,” lamented the pro.

Hodges replied to Rapinoe’s claim on social media.

“Wow. For those seeing this,” wrote Hodges to his followers, “Just know there is a God and he has wonderful plans for those that believe in him!”

Sage Steele also chimed in, criticizing Rapinoe’s comments as “narcissism at its finest.”

“Everyone is always like, ‘Who kicked me?’” Rapinoe recalled.

Adding, “And obviously, no one was even around me, and I was pressing. That’s what it felt like. Just a huge pop and I can’t even feel where the Achilles is, but pretty sure I tore my Achilles. The worst possible outcome.”

“Thank God I have a f—— deep well of a sense of humor. It’s devastating to go out in a final so early,” confessed the controversial star.

Additionally, the text highlights Rapinoe’s team’s loss and her personal performance during the season, as well as her disappointing exit from the Women’s World Cup earlier in the year.
