A report by the Observatory on Intolerance and Discrimination against Christians in Europe (OIDAC Europe) has revealed a 44% increase in religiously motivated hate crimes against Christians in Europe.
The report documents a rise in violent incidents, social hostility, vandalism, and arson attacks on churches.

Legal developments, including hate speech legislation, have infringed upon the religious freedom of Christians.
Anti-Christian hate crimes have been steadily increasing over the past decade, with the highest number of incidents reported in Germany, Italy, and France.
Radicalized members of ideological, political, or religious groups are identified as major sources of anti-Christian aggression.
