Sen. Rand Paul accuses Dr. Anthony Fauci of being part of a COVID cover-up, stating that Fauci knew early on about the virus being linked to Wuhan and funded by the National Institutes of Health.
Paul criticized Fauci’s judgment in allowing gain-of-function research in an insecure environment.
He also urged scrutiny of individuals who may have been financially motivated in investigating the virus’ origins. (Trending: Court Hands Down Crucial 2nd Amendment Ruling)

“From early January, he knew that he had funded Wuhan,” insisted Paul of Fauci.
“There’s one of the key scientists who in private says that the virus looks like it came from the lab but in public says the opposite,” accused the Senator.
Adding, “If Democrats want to compromise and say, we don’t want to take it from the IRS, we’d rather take it from another place. I’m open to listening to where the money comes from.”
Additionally, Paul expressed support for Israel but argued that the aid package should be offset by cutting a similar amount from the IRS budget.
He also discussed Kentucky politics and alleged targeting of conservatives by the Department of Justice.
