The Israeli military has raided Gaza’s largest hospital, Shifa, as part of a targeted operation against Hamas, seizing control of northern Gaza.

The hospital had seized operations due to dwindling supplies and lack of electricity, leading to a mass grave being dug for 120 bodies.

Israel claims Hamas has consistently used civilians as human shields, while Palestinians and international critics argue Israel is deliberately harming civilians.

“Without fuel, the humanitarian operation in Gaza is coming to an end. Many more people will suffer and will likely die,” stated Philippe Lazzarini, the commissioner-general of UNRWA.

The Israeli onslaught has caused large-scale casualties and displacement, with the UN warning that the humanitarian operation in Gaza is ending due to a lack of fuel.

The ongoing fighting has led to a critical situation at Shifa Hospital, with patients, including babies, now at risk due to the lack of power for essential equipment.
