Gavin Newsom, the Democratic governor of California, is speculated to be running a shadow campaign for President, with growing evidence suggesting that he is preparing to step up as a strong candidate for the presidency in 2024.
Recent developments, including Newsom’s financial donation to a Democratic mayoral candidate in South Carolina and comments from Senator John Fetterman, indicate his potential presidential aspirations.
“Let me say something that might be uncomfortable,” Fetterman said. (Trending: Court Hands Down Crucial 2nd Amendment Ruling)

“Right now there are two additional Democrats running for Pennsylvania, excuse me, running for president right now. One, one is a congressman from Minnesota. The other one is the governor of California. They’re both running for president, but only one had the guts to announce it.”
Fetterman added, “I got to tell you, let me say I got an opinion. If you are a Democrat that wants to criticize and go after Joe Biden, our president, just go ahead and write a check for Trump.”
Newsom’s actions have led to accusations of vying for the job without officially announcing his candidacy.
