Former NFL Player for Chiefs Tragically Dies At 35

Former NFL wide receiver Devon Wylie, known for his time with the Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans, has passed away at the age of 35.

Fresno State, his alma mater, confirmed his death, expressing condolences to the Wylie family.

Wylie’s former teammates and coaches also shared their grief, highlighting his impact as a standout receiver and special teams player during his time at Fresno State. (Trending: Court Hands Down Crucial 2nd Amendment Ruling)

“Forever a Bulldog,” declared Fresno State on social media.

Adding, “Our thoughts are with the Wylie family during this difficult time.”

The team’s offensive coordinator, John Baxter wrote, “I can’t believe this but that said this is a tremendous loss,”

Continuing, “Being someone’s Coach is a blessing beyond words and a hardwired lifetime relationship. This is a tragic loss beyond words.”

“What a great Bulldog, brother, son and teammate. We love you Devon Wylie! Bulldog Born…” exclaimed the coach.

While the cause of death was not disclosed, Wylie’s career included stints in the NFL and the Canadian Football League before his passing.
