Robert F. Kennedy Jr. faced criticism for walking barefoot on an American Airlines flight, with a witness describing the cabin as littered with food and debris.

The incident, captured on social media, led to calls for his removal from the presidential race.

Kennedy, an independent candidate, has previously been known for his vocal criticism of vaccines and has shifted his partisan affiliation. (Trending: Court Hands Down Crucial 2nd Amendment Ruling)

“RFK JR is a really strange dude,” wrote self-described, New York Democratic politician and “gay dad of five kids”, @joncoopertweets.

Justin Haskins from the conservative Heartland Institute was also reportedly on the plane and spoke about the incident to TMZ.

“The floor is covered with food, and, like, disgusting food!” said Haskins.

“He goes into the restroom sockless and shoeless,” continued Haskins.

Adding, “Something I’ve literally never seen in my entire life … Absolutely disgusting, right?”

“And I’m thinking, ‘This guy is a presidential candidate!’” Haskins said in disbelief.

The incident was enough to disqualify Kennedy as a candidate in the eyes of Haskins.

“This man needs to be removed from the race immediately,” he said.

Despite his family legacy, this incident has sparked controversy and calls for his disqualification from the race.
