Deaths at Border Reason Enough to Impeach Mayorkas

U.S. Representative Tony Gonzales (R-TX) supports the latest attempt to impeach Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, citing the deaths of innocent Americans at the border.

The resolution, filed by Representative Marjorie Taylor Green (R-Ga.), attributes over 1400 migrant deaths to Mayorkas’ performance.

The resolution accused Mayorkas of neglecting his obligation to secure the borders.

Gonzales said, “From restricting ICE’s deportation authorities to exploiting the parole program, he will stop at nothing to get around our immigration laws.”

The latest border deaths involving innocent commuters on a rural Texas roadway in Gonzales’ district. Eight people died in a vehicle crash near Batesville, Texas.

The crash involved the death of a suspected migrant smuggler and five suspected migrants traveling in a vehicle pursued by the Zavala County Sheriff’s Department.
