Luana Andrade, a 29-year-old Brazilian reality TV star and social media influencer, passed away suddenly due to a massive pulmonary embolism, a day after undergoing an aesthetic procedure to remove body fat from her knee.
The surgery was interrupted, and she was transferred to the ICU, where she received treatment.
Her boyfriend, Joao Hadad, expressed his devastation on Instagram.

Sao Luiz Hospital released a statement in which they wrote, “The surgery was interrupted and the patient underwent tests that revealed massive thrombosis.”
“She was transferred to the ICU where she underwent medication and hemodynamic treatment,” continued the press release.
Andrade’s boyfriend, Joao Hadad, posted to Instagram: “I am torn apart and living my biggest nightmare. A part of me left.”
“We built a beautiful story and lived our dreams intensely,” continued Hadad.

Adding, “In addition to being a girlfriend, you are and will always be a partner beyond life, my love. … You are my light, princess. I ask that you continue to watch over me and all of us from above.
“I will always love you, from now until eternity,” proclaimed Hadad.
Andrade was known for her appearance on the reality TV show Power Couple and had a significant following on Instagram.
