Former President Donald Trump mentioned a Florida politician at a rally, which unexpectedly led to boos from the audience.
Contrary to expectations, the politician in question was not Governor Ron DeSantis, who is known to have a contentious relationship with Trump.
Instead, Trump was trying to pronounce the name of Carlos Giménez, a vocal supporter of the former president, when the boos erupted.
Trump appeared surprised by the negative reaction and attempted to gauge the audience’s sentiment towards Giménez.
“Oh, you don’t like him?” Trump asked as the booing increased.
“What’s going on?”
Trump: Your Congressman Cariess Gimez. You know him? Carless Gimenez. Some people say Carlos.

“Carlos! Come on, Carlos,” Trump said. “We gotta get that straightened out.”
“Really? Wow.” Trump remarked in response to the crowd’s disapproval.
This incident isn’t the first time Giménez has faced vocal disapproval from Trump supporters, despite his consistent backing of Trump.
