Senator Josh Hawley is urging a federal investigation into claims that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) under President Biden has diverted resources away from investigating child exploitation to assist illegal immigrants at the US-Mexico border, including making sandwiches for them.
Whistleblowers have alleged that hundreds of special agents have been reassigned, leading to stalled criminal investigations and numerous suspects evading arrest.

Hawley wrote that he would like “an immediate investigation into whistleblower allegations that the DHS has shut down or delayed investigations into child exploitation and other crimes in order to transfer hundreds of special agents to process illegal immigrants at the southern border.”
Since Biden took office, an estimated six million border crossers and illegal aliens have entered the US, including nearly two million “got-aways.”
